HKICA |
Hong Kong International Cello Association (HKICA) is a registered non-profit organization. It is established by a group of outstanding young cellists in 2005. The association aims at promoting the cello through a variety of performing activities such as interflows and concerts. In less than a year, the association has performed in Hong Kong, Macau and Guangzhou. In 2006 summer, the HKICA also is the co-presenter of "The 2nd National Ai Qin Bei Cello Competition" which the jointly presented by the Chinese Musician Association Cello Society and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Invited by LCSD, the government of HKSAR, the association hosted a theme concert, "Entering the World of the Cello" in March 2007.
